Hello again folks, i know u wont notice this post because this blog is not important for the normal folk to take notice or better yet to read it, but then again i am extremely bored to the extent that i have to actually do a blog post. One of those inspirations, if you may comes from my discoveries of other blogs, either stumbled upon or just, out of boredom, i will google some random word and poof, there i see a few blogs either locally or internationally. In my recent adventures, I have read some interesting stories, of people expressing their love towards another human being, either straight forward or subliminally, u know, those folks who put some alphabet like N or S to hint the people around his/her circle about his/her relationship with his/her significant other or to tell the one who they are in love with, that they miss or love or whatever tp this particular person. Love, is a wonderful thing, I agree, there is nothing more inspiring than to have another human being who is passionate in loving you. Even George Carlin said something about this topic.
"Dear Political Activists,
All your chanting, marching, voting picketing boycotting and letter-writing will not change a
thing; you will never right the wrongs of this world. The only thing your activity will accomplish
is to make some of you feel better. Such activity makes powerless people feel useful, and provides them the illusion that they 're making a difference. But it doesn 't work. Nothing changes. The powerful keep the power. That's why they 're called the powerful.
This is similar to people's belief that love can overcome everything, that it has some special power. It doesn't. Except one on one. One on one, love is
incredibly powerful. It is a beautiful thing. But if love had any power to change the world, it would
have prevailed by now. Love can't change the world. It's nice. It's pleasant. It's better than hate.
But it has no special power over things. It just feels good. Love yourself, find another person to
love and feelgood.
Love, George"
George Carlin - When Will Jesus Bring the Porkchops
The title of the book aside, and also what he is known for, which is for some of u who do not know this very special man, he is George Carlin one of the greatest comedians ever to grace the mic with his edgy comedy, his defiance towards authority and this statement was spot on by him, who knew, even he has a soft spot for love, i guess we all do, its human nature, its natural for someone to look for another to lean on to, to love and be loved. I have times where I prefer to be alone, because of the hypocrisy of the world urges me to curl up in my cubicle, but then again, I am only human...
A video for all who stumble upon this...
