Three times the charm

This is it, The Rhymeweaver's latest mixtape, part of his, Mixtape series, and all i can say, the odds of getting 5 mics is promising...

So let us embark into the darkness shall we...

Watch your step...

Track listing :

1. Welcome to the Unknown (intro)

2. A Real Bargain (feat. El Genio)

3. The Philtre

4. Rest Stop

5. Jangan Pandang Belakang

Bonus Track: Gorehounds (feat. Familyboy)

The starting of the mixtape is already frightening with the samples of the supernatural laced with one horrific ass beat, and after the intro, the horror keeps coming on and on...

Storyline wise, its the dopest by far with horror stories sending chills down your spine with the perfect selection of beats, the guests this time, sadly is not as much as the previous mixtape but still prove to be sufficient and capable to actually make you piss in your pants if you are (preferably listening at night through your earphones/headphones/earpieces/whatever).

Looking on...

My favourite track right now is Jangan Pandang Belakang which is a typical horror story where its in the wee hours in the morning and, and, lets just let the listeners experience that one for themselves, where is the fun of a horror story if i tell u the details, right? I prefer to take this song because its the only malay song in the mixtape, and a very well crafted one.

I wish not to take the track A real bargain as my favourite because although appealed to me the most with the samples and whatnot, but Im in that track collaborating with him and that would seem bias, to pick a track which i collaborated him as a favourite track in the mixtape, isnt it?

The bonus track, is Gorehounds, i have promoted this song a few months back (check 2008) and all i can say, its the perfect selection for this type of mixtape, with the horror and all as its main topic.

And finally, he is selling this mixtape at NZ5.00 (get your calculators people to convert because im just too lazy), you can navigate on how to buy the mixtape or downloading the free version (minus the good stuffs) here , here and here . I strongly suggest that u buy because its hard to get quality storytelling rap songs at this price

The Verdict - just like the price he is selling his mixtape, in NZ currency obviously, a 5 out of 5.

How smooth can you go

Damn Maxi Jazz's raps are so smooth, laced with that house-esque beat, and you got yourself a dope ass song, screw lyricism this time, flow is the way to go

This is the year of the dope, made that zodiac all by myself, yeah, one thing thats gonna come is supernatural rap mixtape ish and i think its gonna be his most dopest work ever because yours truly is gonna appear in that mixtape, expect Baphomet come knocking your window after u hear the collaboration between the weaver and me...

Anyways, i got an update, expect bombardment, its time for the bombshelter, TBS bitches, where weak cats being blasted outside the premises and whatnot, it involves 2 members of the watchers, which is the ill rhyme sayer dafrosty and the smoothest emcee who ever graced the mic in MY phin . Yeah, and a whole other stuffs like the release of The schizzowphernic, be there, or be triangle (lame)...
