Music From and Inspired by Classic Literature

Here it is, I got this mixtape a while ago, from The Rhymeweaver . Just heard the songs and all i can say is this mixtape is his best work yet.

Although with only 2 mixtapes under his belt, its quite obvious that he is here to stay due to his ability to flip classic literature into dope rap songs.
The clarity of his raps, the beats and the vivid story telling compels you to enjoy every single minute of the mixtape that consists of only 5 songs. U can actually see his effort by jumbling up things like his biography, the links to his blog, his myspace page, the emcees who collaborated with him, the lyrics of his songs and he even put in the original literature into the mixtape for references and this to me makes the 5 songs feel more than sufficient.

Personally, my favorite track in the whole mixtape is You Might Have Been, a song about the alternate history of Adolf Hitler and how he is actually a misunderstood child than a demon child. Do check out the details about the song in the mixtape because I may be wrong. But seriously, a song about the Fuhrer, with a hook sampled from Kelly Clarkson's Because of You and a piano driven beat sounds like it doesnt mix well but gotta give him props for making it sound beautiful.

I would give this mixtape a rating of 4 stars out of 5 because somehow although i said that 5 songs is enough, but to some, it might not be so and the lack of a malay song kinda disappointed me a little bit but other than that, the mixtape is very very dope...

All Hail Thee The Rhymeweaver.

Cheers.
